Who knew grocery shopping could be so fun? Albertson's was doubling coupons this week, so the above groceries cost only $7.01. How it worked out:
Granola bars $0.50/box
Diced tomatoes Free w/manufacturers coupon
Macaroni grill kit $1.50 each plus a coupon for $2 free chicken
Fish crackers $1/each
+ a little money for the chicken (I bought more than $2 worth)
And...when we paid the register printed off a coupon for $1 off my next purchase. A year and a half ago I never would have guessed I would be a fan of Albertson's.
