My vegetable garden is starting to show the signs of fall. A few days ago I pulled the remaining onions and braided them as shown in this book. It's so nice to be able to go outside and snip off one onion to use in the day's cooking. I have two onion braids and one garlic braid in storage for winter. It will be fun to see how many months go by before I need to buy garlic and onions again.
